Just A Short Thank You

Mon Mar 28, 2011 3:12 AM EDT
groups, thank-you
By Kara Shalee
Advertise | AdChoices

To ALL the people over my time on the here who have allowed me into their groups. When I was new, I didn't even recognize who had issued me an invite.

Now the problem is a little different, and I am in the position of not having the time I'd like on a daily basis for "being here". So, I am hoping that you all will accept my very sincerely felt thanks. Normally now that I know better, I would post that in the group talk (if there is any, in some groups there isn't).

My time at the moment is so scarce that I just come in to look at my groups, and make a comment or two, and then have to get some rest.

But, everything changes. So, I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all who let me be a part of their groups, whether I applied or whether I got an invite. It really helps to feel like a "part of".

I'll go in when things calm down in personal life and say the thanks for the recent acceptance on applications. For now, this is what I can do.

And, I humbly hope, better than nothing at all.

Here's hoping that each and every one is doing well, and handling life's ups and downs, and all that.

I like being here, just can't leave, and it's always nice to feel acceptance.

Maybe it's just a human nature thing, or maybe not. As usual, I don't know..........

Again, thank you and "All the Best to you and yours".................Theresa N

Theresa N,

I have been busy this spring doing chores that have been neglected for far too long, but I am glad that I took the time to read this and hope to catch you on the Vine again soon.

In the meantime, I hope that your life has more sunshine than rain.

Thank you, MoCowgirl. It's beginning to have more sunshine than rain, due to special people like you dropping in!! Good luck with the spring chores, yeah they do need to get done, and the switching of the clothes is always a "biggie" for me. I retired my winter hat today.........

Take care, Your friend, Theresa N

Theresa,

(((Hugs to you)))

I wish you all the best as well! Spring is busy for me too, but like you, I love being here! I understand the pull of life and the retreat of the vine. I have about 23 more days to go for the school year, then ya'll won't be able to get rid of me! LOL

Dowser,

I really thank you for dropping in, also considering that the VineMeet is coming up soon. How is that coming along?? I have to say that I don't know how you get it all done. Job, family, Vine, and Vine Meet, and ......... you are a really good multi tasker. I've always wondered if you belong to Mensa. Though its kind of a rude question, so please consider it rhetorical.

Hope you are feeling good, and all the best to you and yours!!

(((((((Dowser)))))))) who taught me those mean hugs...........so back at you!!

Dowser, I really apologize for the rude question. A southern lady such as yourself would never answer that. I don't know what made me ask it..............I HATE it when that happens. There was no context. I was thinking back to when I asked you about your job and then I didn't understand the answer. My jaw just dropped to the floor. I understood part of it, but I couldn't comment further since I didn't understand your response when I asked for more details! Thankfully, someone else picked up the discussion. I've always felt a bit guilty about not writing back to you on that discussion point. I hope this makes sense. So anyway, there is the context for you. Context is kind of important..............yeah it really is!!

Wow Buzz, how could you have been so right on? Thank you very much, yes it's health and well-being.

We all have those challenges from time to time, so I hope that you and yours are well of course.

You have a fun club that I will participate more in when I'm better, and thanks for your kind post.

Hi Therese, thank you too for inviting me to your groups, and for your always considerate posts on NV. Spring is a busy time so I think people are spending less time on the computer, and more time outside. I know I am. I wasn't on the computer much at all this weekend and that was a nice break.

Wishing you all the best and I'll see you in our favorite internet places!

Hi Elaine, I'm so happy to hear that your weather is nice and cleared up, yes so true that we can be outside more. The sunshine and nice breezes between the rain can be SO restorative. More daylight can cure some ills, anyway that's what I've been told.

Oh I wish you all the best as well and hope to be seeing you around more very soon!! Thanks for your very kind post..........Theresa N

It's gonna rain tomorrow but Wednesday will be nice. I'll think about you while I'm planting flower bulbs. It can be relaxing. Then when they bloom, you'll wonder where that sweet smell is coming from. :-)

God Bless you Mrs D and SW Missouri Mule. SWMM-do you mean like night blooming jasmine? Gardenias? Or something else? I don't know much about gardening, so bulbs.............hmmm. Wondering what smells so good about bulb flowers.

I'll think of both of you as well tomorrow and, thanks again.

One of my favorite most fragrant bulbs, the Hyacinth:

"If, of thy mortal goods, thou art bereft,
And from thy slender store two loaves
alone to thee are left,
Sell one & from the dole,
Buy Hyacinths to feed the soul"

Dearest friend,

despite the separation of time and distance you are never far from my thoughts - we all seek kindred spirits, friends who reflect the best in ourselves. You reflect the best of what is good in all of us, and your absence will be keenly felt. Forgive me T, but I really AM beginning to worry - Please remember, I'm only a virtual cuppa away and do take care! xx

MM, dear friend, you are never far from my thoughts either. We'll have that virtual cuppa, 1 with milk and a lump of sugar, and one with just milk. I am OK. And you take care too, young lady!! xx

PS Sharing a secret again just between you and me of course, I shall not be away for too long, for I am addicted........
